It’s good news! Nokia announces C1 and C2 new mobile models with two SIMs inside, by affordable price! Before taxes and subsidies it will cost 45 euro (55 USD). Both of them are dual-SIM solutions and the other two offer good connectivity and multimedia for a very limited price. Nokia also announced a bicycle charging solution for areas with limited access to electricity. The C2 is a dual-SIM phone and interestingly, the second SIM card is easily accessible and hot-swappable (a world’s first). The phone supports the 900/1800 GSM bands.

The battery is estimated to last 16,5 days on standby and 4 hours of talk time. The Nokia C2 also features VGA camera, GPRS Internet connectivity, Bluetooth and FM radio with broadcast recording. There’s also a microSD card (up to 32GB, but those cost more than the phone itself), 3.5mm audio jack plus an MP3 player.

The other dual-SIM phone is the Nokia C1-00, which will cost 30 euro (37 USD). It doesn’t have two active cards – just one, but there’s a quick shortcut to switch between the two. The phone has a smashing standby of 48 days. It features an FM radio, 3.5mm audio jack and a flashlight.

Posted: April 28, 2010 by GreatWorld in Mobile News, Samsung

Chaina mobile joining with Samsung has released a new Samsung GT-I7680. This device differs from other devices by its working on the OPhone operating system. OPhone is a customized version of OS Android.

As seen mobile phones Samsung have grabed more and more markets and , but it find its buyers.

The phone supported by the third generation networks TD-SCDMA, as well as GSM 900/1800/1900 MHz. it has a 3.5-inch WVGA AMOLED display, WiFi, a 5-megapixel camera, and 800mhz camera, and all of the other bells and whistles you’d come to expect from a modern Android phone (including GPS, a 3.5mm headset jack, etc). Samsung’s phones have all shared a similar feature set as of late, so this phone – even with its sub-1ghz processor – should be desirable for anyone on China Mobile.

it’s no pricing and dates to be revealed yet but it looks that, functional Samsung GT-I7680 is pretty good: the processor with 800 MHz, touchscreen 3,5-inch AMOLED matrix and 800 x 480 pixels. 5-megapixel camera with autofocus, WAPI (Wi-Fi in China), Bluetooth, FM-tuner, GPS-module connector for standard headphones 3,5 mm.

Nokia 6500 Slide

Posted: March 10, 2010 by GreatWorld in Nokia

This is a slide design 3G phone with an 3.2 megapixel camera and a large hi-res LCD display. It offers video calling, and MP3 player, an FM radio, expandable memory and Bluetooth. On the negative side it’s heavier than average and its battery life could be better. Also, be aware that quite a few of our users are finding that their phones become faulty and have to be be replaced or repaired. Available in silver or black.

Features
The Nokia 6500 Slide is a 3G phone with a simultaneous multimedia and business focus. This has been tried before and looks too much like a company is hedging its bets rather than make a highly targeted (and more useful) device.

You get a tonne of video features, including video call capability, a video-out cable, and a really quite useful camera. Firstly it features a 3.2 megapixel capture with a Carl Zeiss lens. The camera has an autofocus, and a built in flash. As an addition to video calls — and helpful while on hold during voice calls — there is a speakerphone option.

The video camera even has a white balance control, and a selectable resolution up to 640 x 480, with an added choice of three different quality modes.

Storage is courtesy of a 256MB mini-SD card, which is pretty small for a multimedia phone, but the slot will handle up to 4GB.

Good: Stylish looks, 3.2-megapixel camera
Bad: Frustrating to use, short battery life, poor, low capacity music player and frequently
Specs: Bluetooth, Slider, Numerical keypad, microSD
