It has an optical joystick that acts like a mini-optical mouse lets you hop screens, page through favorite options and get familiar with the GUI with freewheeling 360-degree action. It’s almost like you’re playing a game.
A touch screen grants you immediate and easy access to frequently used functions. You can also pin-point your selections with a stylus pen or type messages.
Ot’s integrated GPS combines Garmin’s handy location-based services with Google Maps. Assisted GPS software for Orange (Webraska) users consumes less handset power, eliminates interference and boosts accuracy.

The greening of the cell phone is here and that’s great. Samsung, LG, and Motorola have showed their cell phones models that are finally going green, in Barcelona’s Congress, the promise 100 percent recyclable and uses soy-based inks; no nasty ozone-eating chemicals are used in its production. Samsung also has a take-back program for recycling your old phones offering a conventional AC charger that draws minimal power, solving the need to talk and tan at the same time.

Motorola got some skin in the green game with its Renew W233 handset, which it officially announced last month. Using 100 percent recycled materials Nokia also come with a cool widget called GreenExplorer that lets owners of Nokia N60 series phones calculate their carbon usage.

Android shows its promise, but it’s a disappointing first outing for this clunkily practical handset, popular tech site igizmo.co.uk reports, commenting new T-Mobile G1.

The T-Mobile G1 is the first mobile handset to feature Google’s open-source Android operating system. As such, it’s arguably the most interesting development in mobile phones since the iPhone’s appearance two years ago.
First impressions of Android are good. When you first turn it on, you’ll have it set up and synchronised with your Gmail email, contacts and calendar in just a minute or two. Emails are pushed to the phone by default, so you’re alerted as they arrive.
The G1 sports a 3.17″ 65K color touchscreen that runs in HVGA (480×320) resolution.
Battery Life
You can talk for 5 hours, or keep the phone in standby for 130 hours.
Camera
3.1MP, or right around 35mm 4×6 print quality.
Frequency Fun
GSM/GPRS/EDGE/Wi-Fi and UMTS/HSDPA
850/900/1700/1800/1900/2100Mhz
Dimensions
4.60” x 2.16” x 0.62”; Weight: 5.6 ounces. And available in white, black and brown.
Storage
1GB MicroSD card preinstalled. Supports 8GB MicroSD.
GPS
Of course, what would Google Maps be without it?
Google Maps
As we’ve seen in a recent update, the G1’s Maps application will integrate Street View so you can see where you are going. But in an industry first, a built-in compass orients the map to your position. North is always up!
Android Market
Similar to the iPhone’s mobile App Store, the Android Market will allow downloading of various Android apps from the Market, to the phone.
Amazon MP3 Store
Amazon’s MP3 store will be preloaded on every G1, allowing the download of 6 million DRM-free tracks with singles starting at 89 cents. Downloading music requires a Wi-Fi connection, previewing can be done over T-Mobile’s network.
YouTube
Yup, it’s on there.
Other Apps
ShopSavvy: designed to help people do comparative shopping
Ecori developed to help people keep track of their daily travels and view what their carbon footprint looks like BreadCrumbz: enables people to create a step-by-step visual map using photos; customers can create their own routes, share them with friends or with the world.

Are you looking to buy new computer? Actually there are many factors to consider, depending on your needs. First of all you should know which type of computer do you need exactly – desktop PC, designed for general use by a single person or you want to buy one of Dell computers, for instance some of Dell Laptops, besides that there are Palmtop, computers with a touch screen technology for user input, Workstation computer, used for special performing like 3D Graphics or game development or Server, optimized to provide services to other computers over a network.

There are many online sources offering great deals on the way of buying a discount computer, including any components, software, accessories and computer repair and support as well. You just need to know how you are going to use the system, taking into account what might interest you next year. Probably you don’t need the latest, and most expensive processor for everyday work but your computer should have at least 256MB of Memory, if less – your computer will work too slow because the speed depends not on the CPU speed but on the amount of memory. The best solution is to give a computer the RAM it needs, 2GB at least if you want to use all latest operating systems including their features.
Anyway choose your new PC carefully, like a new friend.
